At a time of personal loss, service and solace matter most. One source of comfort for the families we have served is the confidence that the services they select will be comfortably and fairly priced.
To assure that the needs of all families are met, regardless of financial circumstance, we have developed three levels of selection offerings, which offer your family the most essential services in the most efficient and economical manner. Each of these special combinations of service is provided with one additional feature…our complete attention and dedication to every detail of your arrangements. Ask any of the families who have trusted us over the years; we have built our reputation on caring, compassionate attention to the needs and wishes of those whom we serve.
Traditional Funeral We have a large selection of packages to choose from. When you plan a funeral, there are several choices for a personalized service and final disposition. One of these is traditional interment, either in the ground, or in a mausoleum. Our cemetery at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens offers many dignified alternatives for burial. Please ask about the special areas of the park and the commemorative opportunities they provide.
Understanding Cremation Cremation can be a beautiful alternative. At a time of farewell, many of the families we serve find emotional satisfaction and healing through cremation. It is a funeral tradition that offers so many beautiful forms of expression.
With cremation, families are comforted through the most familiar funeral traditions, such as memorial services, gatherings, or visitations. The effect is both dignified and healing. We will be happy to explain the many beautiful choices.
Personalization Make a service more unique by personalizing the funeral. As part of any memorial observance, many families choose to add “special touches” that further personalize a service. These include a memorial table, with a display of photos, keepsakes, and mementos that commemorate a life well lived. A tribute video is especially meaningful, showing scenes from the person’s life, accompanied by music. We laminate prayer cards and obituary notices to preserve them for the future, and we do much more.
Please ask about the ways we can help you honor your loved one.
Out of State Transfer We can assist with out-of-town services.
When the last wish is to go home, we can help make all the arrangements. If a Death Occurs:
In Another Community Oftentimes, individuals move to another community or maintain a second residence but desire funeral services be conducted in another area. Funeral or cremation arrangements can be completed and pre-arranged with our funeral home before moving. When death occurs, the family should contact our funeral home before arranging any type of final disposition services.
When Traveling It is helpful for persons to carry a wallet-size card indicating the name and phone number of the next of kin and the name and phone numbers of our funeral home. Travel insurance is an additional option you may consider.
When death is sudden or unexpected, the coroner or medical examiner is involved and can help coordinate arrangements with our funeral home for preparation and return of your loved one to the desired area.
Outside the United States If a person dies while traveling outside the United States, officials in the foreign country will notify the U.S. Embassy in the country where death occurs. Our professional funeral home staff is familiar with the procedures for returning your loved one to the United States.
